Breaking News: Fabregas signs for Real Madrid
According to sources, very hot sources, close to Arsenal, Cesc Fabregas has agreed to join Real Madrid once their La Liga season ends.
The sources also state that Fabregas' team mate and captain Thierry Henry will be joining him in Spain, but in the Catalunia region, since he is close to agreeing a switch to Barcelona.

If you'd stopped at Henry this might have had a shred of credibility. But Fabregas, firstly he can't just "agree" to join Real Madrid - he's on one of the longest contracts in football history so it's Arsenal's choice. If Arsenal say no, he's not going anywhere and the words "snowball" and "hell" spring to mind, unless RM pay Arsenal a HUGE amount (forget £10-£15m - try £60-£70m). Secondly, he's a dyed in the wool Barca fan from a family of dyed in the wool Barca fans. He'd rather cut his own nuts off than play for Real. And if he didn't, his Dad would do it for him.
I don't believe this at all but reading the dialogue of the interview Henry gave recently he's gone from saying last year when he extended his contract that he wanted to retire at Arsenal, to stating that he is an Arsenal player for the time being. What a difference a departing Dein makes eh? I reckon they'll both stay on this year but unless Wenger puts his name down to another long contract then the board want to be preparing for a mass exodus. The information originally given to me was false. The Fabregas story is out of context. Real Madrid are merely trying to talk to Arsenal about the possible transfer of the registration of Cesc Fabregas.
As for the Thierry Henry news, it's all been confirmed by the source and it will be announced before the end of the month, possibly next week.
