Rumour: Spurs enquire over Arsenal star
According to reports, Spurs have enquired over the availability of Arsenal star striker Thierry Henry.
Apparently Spurs, who have pulled out of the race to sign Darren Bent due to Charlton's £18m asking price, have thought of a better way of spending the near £20m, by bidding on their rivals' star player.
Henry, who is keen to play alongside Dimitar Berbatov, has great admiration for the sudden rise of Tottenham Hotspur and the style in which they have gone about their buiseness. The departure of David Dein has really put a dent into his loyalties to Arsenal and a good contract offer may well tempt him to sign for the Lillywhites.
